How to self-exclude from PrizePicks, Underdog and other fantasy apps at once
Pick'em apps like PrizePicks and Underdog work a lot like a sportsbook parlay. You pick players, you need them all to hit, and you chase the next one. Since March 2026 there's a shared exclusion that covers four of these apps in every state. Here's how to use it, and why you should pick lifetime.
The short version
- Withdraw your balance first. PrizePicks tells you to do it before you exclude.
- PrizePicks: menu, Responsible Gaming, Self-Exclusion, choose LIFETIME.
- Underdog: account icon, Responsible Gaming Limits, Exclusion, choose lifetime, Save.
- Say yes to the national option. When you exclude on one of the partner apps, you can extend it to PrizePicks, Underdog, Dabble and Splash Sports at once, in all 50 states and DC.
- Any other app is separate. If you've used a fantasy or pick'em app outside those four, exclude there too.
The national program, in plain words
On March 10, 2026, a company called idPair and four fantasy operators (PrizePicks, Underdog, Dabble and Splash Sports) opened a shared self-exclusion program in all 50 states and DC. When you self-exclude on one of them, you're given the option to extend it to the others. That's the box to tick.
Betr, another member of the same industry group, wasn't part of the launch, according to SBC Americas. If you use Betr or any other app, exclude there yourself.

PrizePicks
Withdraw first
PrizePicks says to withdraw your funds before you finalize, because you lose access to the account once you submit.
Open Responsible Gaming
In the app, open the menu at the top left and tap Responsible Gaming. In a browser, the menu is at the top right or the link is in the footer.
Choose LIFETIME
Scroll to Self-Exclusion and pick LIFETIME from the list. Shorter options start at 30 days. Lifetime means the account can't be reopened and you can't open a new one.
Extend it if you're offered the option
Choose to apply it across the partner apps.
PrizePicks says self-exclusion also blocks its marketing notifications.

Underdog
Open your account
Tap the account tab at the top right (the person icon).
Go to Responsible Gaming Limits
Then switch to Exclusion.
Pick lifetime and save
The choices are 1, 3, 5 or 10 years, or lifetime. Underdog says it can't be undone, and you're logged out as soon as you confirm.
- Contests you already entered settle normally. Contact Underdog support to get your balance paid out.
- In Pennsylvania, Underdog says any winnings awarded during a self-exclusion are forfeited.

Dabble and Splash Sports
Both are in the national program. If you used either one, check that your exclusion reached it by trying to log in, or go into that app's responsible gaming settings and exclude there too. Doing it twice costs you nothing.
These apps sell more than pick'em now
PrizePicks and Underdog both offer prediction market contracts in some states. A PrizePicks spokesperson told SBC Americas the shared program could cover prediction markets, which isn't the same as saying it does today. Ask each app's support to confirm in writing that your exclusion covers every product on your account.

What about my state?
Some states run their own fantasy sports exclusion and some don't. Tennessee's regulator, for example, says there's no central fantasy list there, so you have to exclude with each operator. Check your state page, enroll in the state program at lifetime if there is one, and use the national option above either way.

Pick lifetime
I chose lifetime self-exclusion. A one-year exclusion ends, and the app will still be there when it does. There's no version of this where we go back to it for fun.
After you exclude, delete the apps, block them with BetBlocker or Gamban, and take the cards off your phone. Then tell one person what you did today. Call or text 1-800-GAMBLER if there's nobody yet.
Common questions
If I self-exclude from PrizePicks, am I excluded from Underdog?
Only if you choose to extend it to the partner apps when you exclude. The national program covers PrizePicks, Underdog, Dabble and Splash Sports. Excluding in each app yourself as well makes sure.
Can I undo a PrizePicks or Underdog self-exclusion?
Underdog says its exclusions can't be undone. PrizePicks says a lifetime exclusion can't be reactivated, and shorter ones only end after the full period. That's what makes them work.
What happens to the money in my account?
Withdraw it first. PrizePicks says to do it before you submit. Underdog says to contact support to arrange payment of your balance, except that Pennsylvania winnings during an exclusion are forfeited.
Does it work in every state?
The shared program launched in all 50 states and DC on March 10, 2026. State-run programs are separate, so check your state page too.
Will I still get their emails and texts?
PrizePicks says self-exclusion blocks its marketing notifications. If messages keep coming from any app, contact its support, unsubscribe, and block the sender.
