How to self-exclude from Hard Rock Bet, including Florida

By Charlie G, a compulsive gambler in recovery. Facts checked November 4, 2026 against the official pages linked below. Not medical, legal or financial advice.

If you live in Florida, Hard Rock Bet is probably the app. It runs under the Seminole Tribe, so the self-exclusion works differently from most states. Hard Rock Bet also operates in Arizona, Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, New Jersey, Ohio, Tennessee and Virginia.

The short version

  • Florida: use the Seminole Tribe's Voluntary Self-Exclusion Program. Terms are 1 year, 5 years or lifetime. Choose lifetime.
  • It covers every Seminole casino and mobile sports betting, which means Hard Rock Bet in Florida.
  • Other states: Hard Rock's terms say self-exclusion bars you from all Hard Rock Digital platforms. In Virginia it runs through the Virginia Lottery's list.
  • To close the account, withdraw everything and give written notice. Hard Rock's terms say closure takes 7 calendar days.

Florida: the Seminole program

Florida doesn't run a statewide self-exclusion list. Hard Rock Bet in Florida is offered by the Seminole Tribe, and the Tribe runs its own Voluntary Self-Exclusion Program.

  1. Get the form

Download the Seminole Voluntary Self-Exclusion form (PDF).

  2. Pick lifetime

The form offers 1 year, 5 years or lifetime. It says 1 and 5 year terms have no appeal and end on their own. A lifetime exclusion can only be challenged in writing after 5 years.

  3. Sign and send it

You can hand it in at a Seminole casino security office. If you mail it, the form says it has to be notarized, with copies of your ID and a current photo, sent to your nearest Seminole casino security department.

  4. Know what it covers

The form covers all Seminole casinos, including mobile sports betting, plus their hotels, restaurants and Hard Rock Live. You also give up any winnings while you're on the list.

There's no room for gambling in our lives going forward. Even after a few years of cooling off, the addiction comes back and we end up gambling the same way again. We never get back to doing it just for fun. We always take it too far.

Closing your Hard Rock Bet account

Hard Rock Digital's terms say you can close your account by withdrawing your whole balance and sending a letter or email, and that closure takes effect after 7 calendar days. Self-exclude first. Closing alone leaves the door open to coming back.
